There are two major events held at one of the clubs during the Association’s year.

The first is the rally of boats usually held during the Spring Bank Holiday.  This event allows club members to renew long standing friendships with other boaters, as well as have fun, socialise and compete in numerous events against the other clubs.  With the ultimate aim of winning the coveted Ruby Plate Trophy.

The second is the annual “Brain of the Nene” quiz, usually held in January during the winter months at one of the clubs.  Each club is represented by a team of six members to participate in a quiz. This event is scheduled to allow boaters to meet up out of the normal boating season, during the winter and is always well supported.
